Looking for a company to create a website that is a
credit to your organisation and pulls in new business? You've come to
the right place.
Good content is the key to the success of any website,
both for attracting visitors and for ranking well with Internet Search
engines. We will write the content from your briefing, or help you optimise
your own copy, and organise the material to make the website relevant
and easy to navigate. We normally try to design the site using your existing
corporate style, but we can devise a design from scratch if necessary.
One of the benefits of a website over other forms of
marketing is that it can be changed very quickly and easily to reflect
developments in your business. Our proposal for building a website always
includes a quote for doing ongoing maintenance and improvement, and we
aim to react quickly when there is a need to get something new on to the
website.
The Web is a different medium to print and web design
needs a different approach if websites are to work successfully on all
browser and operating system combinations. We take care to make sure that
all the websites we design conform to the standards laid down by the World
Wide Web Consortium (W3C), as this gives them the best chance of working
with both the latest versions of browsers and older ones. You won't find
"Best viewed with <insert your favourite browser here>"
on any of our websites - we believe it's the visitor's choice which browser
they use, and that websites should display satisfactorily in any browser.
Every website is different, so we need to discuss your
requirement with you before we submit a proposal. Contact
us for a free initial discussion.

The Gentry
- this website is intended to work as an annexe to THE GENTRY: STORIES OF THE ENGLISH, a book Adam Nicolson has written about the history of the gentry, providing further links, details and many images of the families his book describes. It uses a content management system, which allows the owner to make additions and amendments himself.
Cyfannedd Fach
- A Mountain Holiday Cottage in Mid-Wales. In its first year this site
became the major source of bookings for the cottage. On a technical note,
the site is written to the latest W3C XHTML standard and uses PHP for
interactive form handling.
9 Belvedere Road, Broadstairs - a three-bedroomed holiday house not far from the sea front in Broadstairs, Kent. Completed in 2011, this site has an attractive design, and has an availability calendar which can be updated by the site owner. It also includes a photo gallery and an interactive booking/enquiry form.
Bruce
Lance & Co - Solicitors in High Wycombe and Poole. We recently
added a Debt Collection section to this site, which contains comprehensive
information about pursuing a debt and provides an interactive form allowing
clients to instruct the firm online. We redesigned this site in 2005
to bring it up to the latest web design and accessibility standards.
We did further redesigns in 2008 and 2009 using a content management
system.
Crowd
Pullers - a Street Performers Booking Agency. We took over this existing
site in 2000 and have since revamped it and brought it up to current Internet
standards.
