The
Drascombe Association - a sailing owners' association. We took over
the management of an existing site and have added a discussion forum and
a bespoke database-driven events calendar (PHP/MySQL for the technically
minded.) The number of visits each month has tripled since we did this.
It's a good example of how a web community can be developed.
The
Shiant Isles - in support of the book 'Sea Room' by Adam Nicolson.
This site acts as a sort of appendix to the book, to give further background
and detail on these uninhabited islands in North West Scotland. It involved
the organisation of a significant amount of information. Technical highlights
are a site search facility and an interactive guest book.
writers

competition, the first since the site went live, drew over 2,000 entries
from all over the world. This site is written to XHTML Standards and uses
PHP for form handling.

database which the company was already using.

areas of engineering analysis, design and project execution. The company
had built a website for themselves which they felt was not fully projecting
their skills and prestige. We retained the existing content but put
it in a completetly new design.
Sue

brought it up to current web standards, retaining the original design
and adding recent examples of her work.
