Lodge Associates has been in business since 1991. We
concentrated initially on marketing communications and managing marketing
projects for our clients. However in 1996, one of our existing clients
asked us to produce a website, and since then the balance of work has
swung largely towards the Internet.
The principal and owner of Lodge Associates is Tim Lodge,
of whom you can read more below. We also have a network of trusted suppliers
and associates whom we can rely on to do work that we cannot handle in-house.

It's traditional for consultants to give some details
of their background, so here is mine:
I served in the Royal Air Force for 19 years as a navigator,
flying in Victors on strategic reconnaissance and Buccaneers on low level
strike/attack. I also did ground tours as an instructor at the officer
training school and as a staff officer in a large headquarters.
On leaving the Air Force, I went into the computer industry
as a salesman, selling visible record computers which - for anyone under
45 - were the only affordable type of computer for small and medium-sized
businesses in the 1970s and early 1980s. I then moved on to what were
known as mini-computers - small multi-user systems capable of supporting
up to about 20 VDUs. We were selling software solutions and hardware as
a bundle. After seven years in sales, I moved into marketing, where among
other things, I was responsible for the development and marketing of a
system for plant hire companies.
In 1991, I formed Lodge Associates to provide marketing
communications services to small and medium sized businesses. In 1996
we added website design and development to our portfolio, and this now
makes up a substantial part of our turnover.
